Works to the Solus Dunstable – Accident and Repair centre is now complete. The new 43,000sqft centre for the Aviva owned company, is fitted out to provide a 28 bay repair workshop with associated offices, welfare provision and a customer reception. The workshop incorporates bodywork bays, spray booths, parts storage, internal wet & dry valet enclosures and specialist aluminium work booths with isolated extraction.
The development has been designed in line with Solus’s strict low carbon corporate policies, delivering true sustainability through building fabric re-use, solar PV Panels, thermal energy recapture, water attenuation and high-performance side air curtains to all workshop roller shutters. Space provision has been made for additional low carbon technologies to be integrated in the future as part of increased sustainable systems roll out.
