MDG was appointed by Faithful+Gould to develop proposals for the redevelopment of 3no former officer accommodation blocks which date back to when the site was used as an RAF station and target range. The proposal was for the buildings to provide accommodation for risk assessed CAT D prisoners and offer a range of activities to them in preparation for release. These included cooking and education facilities and the opportunity to live within communal housing albeit under close supervision by staff.
MDG provided a full range of architectural services including acting as Technical Assessors once the contractors was appointed to undertake the work.
