MDG COMPLETE PLANNING PROPOSALS FOR THROCKMORTON PARK

MDG Architects have completed planning proposals on behalf of Pinnacle, for 21 new sustainable modular-designed distribution units (Use class B8), at Throckmorton Industrial Park, Pershore. The application site, which is split over two phases, measures almost 40 acres (161,873m2). The units have been designed so they can be relocated in the future, so that the wider long term masterplan for the Pershore Airfield site can be realised, provide a fully sustainable and recyclable solutions.

The new proposals for the northern area of the former Pershore Airfield form part of a wider masterplan, which is currently in development and consultation. This will include residential, retail, employment, schools, green corridors, and community use classes. These proposals have had to accommodate and protect large areas of historic lowland meadowland, and incorporate innovative sustainable drainage and renewable energy strategies to meet the local planning requirements.

To ensure maximum flexibility for this speculative development, the planning proposals allow for a variety of units sizes and adaptable site arrangements for small to larger storage requirements.
