DANIEL WICKS

Daniel joined the MDG team in 2017 as Director, having worked within a variety of sectors including Education, Retail, Commercial and, most significantly Public Sector. Daniel joined MDG following three years as Director of his previous practice and is tasked with developing business and delivering projects with a value range of between £250k–£150m.

Within his varying roles in the public sector, Daniel has gained significant experience in the implementation of BIM and has been credited with assisting the Ministry of Justice in meeting the objectives of BIM Level 2, which is now mandatory on all their projects. He has also forged key relationships with the main consultant framework providers engaged to deliver multidisciplinary services to the UK Government.

In February 2025, Daniel purchased the business and now leads MDG Architects as its owner and Managing Director. His key role is to continue developing and delivering the non-automotive portfolio of the practice whilst also ensuring MDG achieve steady growth across all sectors.
